Darjeeling, a familiar name to any person, is today the most talked about Hill station of the world.
Though it came into recognization only for the past two centuries, yet people who want to visit Darjeeling feel very nostalgic about it. One of the major reasons for this nostalgia is the involvement of the British with Darjeeling during their prime time towards the end of 19th & the beginning of 20th century. So much so that Darjeeling became the summer capital of the British India.
Help Tourism, an ecotourism company has taken up the initiative to organize nostalgic theme based itineraries for visitors to this Queen of the Hill’s, Darjeeling. Starting from managing heritage properties, organizing full fledged participatory programs for visitors in tea estates and Himalayan villages, to taking visitors on the trails of the past, Help Tourism has made all efforts to relive the ‘Old Darjeeling Charm’ based at the 96 years old ‘The Swiss Hotel’.
